Last post here was April 17. It's June 10. That gap isn't us losing steam — it's the opposite. The newsletter went quiet because the lab got loud. Here's the honest catch-up, receipts included.
Since April, Strange Advanced Marketing went from "agency with an AI workflow" to an agency that runs on AI end to end — and started getting paid for installing that same system into other businesses.
1. The content machine. We've shipped 25+ TikTok videos since late May. Not talking-head takes — real terminal walkthroughs with real commands, assembled by the AI itself. The current run: I voice-note an idea from my phone, my AI writes the script, records it in a clone of my voice, builds the animation, assembles the video, and hands me a finished file with the caption. I never open an editor. The videos about that exact pipeline are the ones pulling the most saves.
2. The voice clone. Free, open-source, runs locally. I stopped recording voiceovers entirely — and to be clear on what it's for: the clone narrates *content*. When my AI talks back to me during the day, it uses a voice I picked, because nobody wants their own voice answering them.
3. The full stack came together. Rules file with our brand voice seeded. Persistent memory that survives every restart. A boot hook that compiles the calendar, the trackers, and yesterday's work before I type a word. MCP servers that drive a real browser and the desktop. API wiring into Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and client storefronts. If you saw this week's two-part TikTok series — that wasn't a concept. That's the literal machine this newsletter is typed next to.
4. Real clients, real money. We deployed the full system for a beard-care e-commerce brand: their own AI, on their own machine, wired to their Shopify, answering their voice notes. Setup paid in full, maintenance running, and the client just committed to their next installment — unprompted. That's the model proving itself: we don't run your marketing forever and bill you forever. We install the machine, teach it your business, and hand you the keys.
Every one of those pieces took weeks of trial, error, and weird edge cases to dial in. That's the honest pitch: you could absolutely build this yourself — the tools are public and half of them are free. Or we set it up for you, remotely, on your machine, in days instead of months.
More from the lab soon — and this time "soon" means it.
