Opus 4.8 vs Fable 5 — same client website, rebuilt. The 3D quote car, the AI video backgrounds, the live map… all of it built through casual conversation.
So, I know everybody's curious what everyone's building with Fable 5, so I figured I'd show you guys a website that we built for a client with Opus 4.8 and then show you what we redesigned with Fable 5. So, the original redesign with Opus 4.8, it pulled in all the necessary items from the original website, but it still looked super bland, kind of looked really basic, just the classic Claude code look. We pulled in the pictures, which wasn't hard.
The quote tool came in, but again, looked super basic, Google reviews, but nothing special. Now, with the redesign with Fable 5, we pulled in some AI-generated video for the background images, the hero image, as well as the constant background video playing on loop. We did the before and after, so you can slide it.
Also, we created this custom 3D car, so they can start the quote by just clicking the window and it ties right into the Omega EDI tool. Google reviews came in, no problem. And then, we created this little map, so it kind of zooms in, shows where the service is available.
Now, none of this was done with any type of templates, no reference images or reference websites were given. It was all done just through casual conversation with Claude code. I personally run mine through the Telegram MCP, so I can voice note Claude, he can voice note me back, and we really just had conversation about what needs to happen, what needs to change, what looks good, what doesn't, and we were able to wire in the existing scheduling tools, the existing quote tools, so that it all works, it all references exactly what it needs to, and it keeps everything on brand.
