The next 5 upgrades to our Claude Code setup (Part 2)
All right, as promised, here's the next five improvements we made to our Claude code setup before we lost access to Fable 5, which in case you didn't know, they extended again, so we're back. First up is VidIQ. This is an MCP server that allows Claude to pull YouTube's real numbers on anything, search volume on any keyword, how competitive it is, trending topics, breakout videos, and what competitor channels are posting.
Next up, we have session report. This is an official Anthropic plugin. After session wraps, it builds a report of what the work actually cost, every token, every dollar, which prompts me to the expensive ones.
You get to see exactly where your AI money goes. We also pulled in Hookafy, which is another official Anthropic plugin. When the AI makes a mistake, this turns that mistake into an enforced rule, so the same mistake literally can't happen twice.
It's not remembering to do better, it's blocked. Agent Browser, this is a CLI tool by Vercel. This gives the agent its own browser that drives it directly from the terminal.
It's headless, no screen. This allows it to click, fill out forms, and read pages as structured data instead of screenshots. Also cuts token usage by about 80%.
And lastly, we have artifacts. This is native Claude capability. It's built in.
Claude can publish anything to its own webpage and keep updating it in place. We turned this into a live dashboard. We're able to see the day's priorities, running agents, what's done, and what's waiting.
